Outstanding pizza oven!

"I’ve been able to use my new Model P 4 time over the vast 10 days and I love it! 3 of the 4 time were for pizzas and they turned out really well (it did take 1 time for me to figure out I should dust my prep surface with semolina to help the dough from sticking!). I used the Neopolitan setting each time and I got a puffy, crispy crust like you see in a pizza restaurant. The cheese was a little charred as well with the pepperoni and sausage. So good. Then, I cooked a Ribeye Steak I purchased from Gibson’s restaurant in Chicago. I used my cast iron skillet at about 700 degrees. I think it was about 3 minutes per side. TJ e steak had a great crust on it after cooking. I then charred some shishito peppers in the same pan once the steak was resting. About 2 minutes and perfect! I’m looking forward to exploring different foods and pizza types. I’m very pleased with the performance of the oven. I was a little concerned that electric might not perform as well as propane - but that was all put to rest with these meals. So good!"

And let me tell you, I’m absolutely thrilled with my purchase! I make sourdough pizza at home twice a month, and it’s as delicious as takeout. The oven is incredibly user-friendly and easy to set up. Just Unbelievable

"I was impressed from the moment the box arrived. High quality exterior box with plastic handles. High quality interior box. High quality molded foam inserts. I thought to myself that if the throw away packing materials are this high of quality the stuff you keep must be amazing. And it is! High quality heavy paper/card stock used for the instruction materials. The app is easy to find/download/setup/use. I purchased the outdoor bundle with the cover, pizza peel, and pizza cutter (wheel) and all of these are also high quality. I started with a frozen pizza to learn how to use the app and dials and buttons figuring that if I messed it up and had to throw away a cheap frozen pizza, it was no great loss. It was the best frozen pizza I've ever had. The following weekend I used my breadmaker to make the pizza dough from scratch, made my own sauce using canned tomatoes from my garden, and a Detroit-style pizza pan I already had from previous (very unremarkable) attempts to make Detroit-style pizza in my regular oven. The results are just unbelievable. The crust was literally perfect. Cooked all the way through with no doughy parts under the cheese but also not burned on the bottom. The cheese had the crunchy caramelized edges Detroit-style pizza is beloved for. It was quite possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten. I'm sure the fresh dough and homemade sauce helped. Good ingredients always make a difference. But this pizza oven is just incredible! I can't wait to try a different style each weekend until I've landed on my favorite. Buy this. You will NOT regret it."

Good pizza, potential for more.

"No doubt about it, the Model P makes some amazing pizza. I do wish there was more customization to the cooking temperature for bake and broil modes. It’s a little irritating to have only presets. It makes sense for cooking pizza but the investment would be significantly enhanced by being able to use it as a versatile extra oven. I wish one of the modes was just ‘custom’ where you could set whatever temperature you want. Having a bake mode that only bakes at 350 is silly. So many recipes call for 325, 375, 400, 425 etc."

First impressions of model P Smart Pizza Oven

"It is very easy to use as the controls make it foolproof. The interior is a little hard to clean because of the small size. The interior of the door has heat discoloration. The exterior stayed relatively cool. There was some smoke, but it was to be expected."

Great so far!

"We haven’t had it for long but it’s been great so far. Only downside we’ve run across is lack of ability to adjust the temperature. Like others has said, a “custom” option would make this a much more versatile oven and give it more ability to leverage its strengths and capabilties."
