An electric pizza oven can be better than your home oven or wood-fired pizza oven, depending on your needs. Unlike a regular kitchen oven, an electric pizza oven can hit temps up to 850°F degrees for a crispy, yet chewy crust. 

Wood-fired pizza ovens can take up to six hours to warm up, but an electric pizza oven hits high temps in minutes, without taking up a lot of space, being restricted to outdoor use, having uneven cooking results, or requiring constant manual rotation.

To clean the stone:  

1. Allow the stone to cool completely before removing it from the oven.  
2. Use nylon bristle brush to remove food particles.  
3. Using a plastic spatula or bench scraper, scrape off any baked-on cheese or food residue  
4. Use a damp cloth to wipe all remaining residue from the stone.  
5. Air dry the stone prior to returning it to the oven.  

Note 1: do NOT use soap on the stone, only water.

Note 2: If you soak the stone in water, the steam from the water in the stone will slow the preheat time by double. We recommend wiping with damp cloth rather than deep soaking in the sink. 

Absolutely. Because your product is connected, you can simply update your firmware to install the new settings. We will continue to make improvements to our firmware for the life of the product to enhance your experience.

• Navigate to the cook screen of the desired appliance 
• Touch the upper left menu icon ( ) to access the device settings 
• Select "Firmware Status" 
• Follow the prompts to install updated firmware.

How hot an electric pizza oven should be depends on the type of pizza you’re making. Typically, a Neapolitan pizza is cooked at 800-850°F degrees for up to two minutes, while a New York-style is cooked from 480-550°F for up to 15 minutes.
