When a food probe is plugged into the control panel, it will register and display the temperature of the probe on both the control panel and in the Current® app.

Does this food probe thermometer display both Fahrenheit and Celsius?

Yes, all Current® electric cooking appliances can toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius to customize the experience for every home chef.

Does this meat thermometer come with Current® products?

Yes, the Model G Electric Griddle includes one probe and the electric grills include two probes. The Model G, G+, and G2 grills all have room to utilize four probes if you’d like more visibility into cooking progress across various foods.

Can I set a target temperature for one or more thermometer probes at a time?

Yes, but you must be using the Current® app. Navigate to the ‘Cook’ tab and choose the probe you are using. From there, select if you’d rather use temperature guides or to set the temperature manually, set the desired temp, and press the orange button to confirm. When the probe reaches the set temperature target, it will beep at the control panel and send an app notification to alert you.

Can I use these probes for foods other than meat?

Yes, you definitely can use the meat thermometer on other foods, like vegetables or fish, though we recommend avoiding submerging the wire in any liquid or thick sauces.

Are the digital thermometers dishwasher safe?

No, they are hand-wash only. Dishwashers would damage the plug end and cord.

Do these meat thermometers work with other electric grills and griddles?

Yes. They would work with any other appliance that has the same capability.
