"The Model G2 Electric Grill has been perfect for summer grilling. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and gives food great flavor and grill marks without needing propane or charcoal. It’s super easy to use, cleanup is simple, and it brings those perfect summer cookout vibes right to the patio. Overall, it’s convenient, powerful, and definitely worth it. I highly recommend it."
"Finally a grill I'm not intimidated/fearful to use! Gas grills scare me tbh and the same with charcoal. I love that this grill plugs into my decks outside outlet. I can easily turn it on, set the exact temperature and cook with confidence knowing that I'm going to get the perfect "doneness" without continually cutting into the meat! Also love the split zones for two different temperatures. My husband put the grill together in just under 2 hours. He did say the manual diagrams didn't always match up to the actual product so it took a little tinkering on his part. Also feel that including a cover to protect the investment would be nice!"
"I've been grilling for over 20 years, and use my pellet smoker all the time. But, sometimes when people come over, it takes too long to preheat. I was a little iffy on a fully-electric grill, but the Current G2 completely won me over. So convenient. No more running out of propane or needing charcoal or pellets for a quick cook. You literally just plug it into a standard outlet and you're ready to go. It heats up way faster than I expected, and having two separate temperature zones is huge when I'm cooking different things at once. Plus, the easy cleanup feature saves so much time. If you want something that's zero hassle but still gets the job done right, I highly recommend this one."
"I originally bought my Current Grill due to regulations at my Senior living complex prohibiting any kind of flames including candles. I was stymied as I have always had a bbq grill for over 60 years and strongly believed in the superiority of open flame 🔥. I finally gave in somewhat begrudgingly about 2 weeks after moving in certain that I would be getting a grill, but most assuredly a totally inferior product. Boy was I wrong! I get great if not better results on my electric Current grill than I previously did. The heat is much better controlled and the flare ups that I always had on previous grills were all gone. Great Job Current and I think this will probably be my forever grill !"
"We’ve been seriously impressed with the Current Model G2. As parents, one of our favorite features is how cool the exterior stays compared to traditional grills. We were always worried about little hands accidentally touching our old grill, so this gives us much more peace of mind during family gatherings and everyday cooking. We were also skeptical about whether electric grilling could really compare to cooking over an open flame, but after hosting a large family gathering, everyone said they never would’ve known it was electric if we hadn’t told them. The heat is incredibly even, everything cooks consistently, and the dual-zone cooking makes it easy to grill different foods at different temperatures at the same time. Another huge plus is never running out of propane right before dinner. The app control and easy cleanup make it even better. And honestly, it’s just a beautiful grill that looks sleek and modern on our patio. This has been a huge upgrade for our family."
"Set grill to sear temp 680deg. Over a hour later, one side is 595 and the other 628. For context, we gave up a Traegar to meet county code to move grill to raised deck. The Traegar app was so much better. Only needed Bluetooth for initial set up for WiFi. After set up, both of us could have the app up, control the grill and get notifications. For this grill, it took over a dozen tries and resets before connected, firmware updates, etc. Only on device can be set up to control the grill. Even once on WiFi, if you turn off Bluetooth, it won’t let you control the grill. Not even close to being a fan yet."
"So far relatively so good. I was not able to get the current up to the 700 degrees after an hour. This could be due to the power voltage on my patio or the fact I haven't installed the firmware update. I have tried several times to get the firmware updated with no success. Other than that pretty happy so far."
"I did not know an electric grill of such quality existed, and now I can’t believe I never had one! Upon delivery, in 2 heavy boxes, I was immediately impressed. I’m not the most handy, but set up was not bad at all, they give you a QR code to an app that makes it user friendly. My husband was very excited about the prospect of not having to drag around experience propane tanks anymore, and I was excited because they give me an uneasy feeling like my house is going to explode lol. The grill just plugged right into our regular outlets and did indeed reach the temps we needed to cook our favorites: marinated chicken, steaks, and brats. I look forward to trying some veggies and other miscellaneous items on here as well. I used to use a little indoor grill, but this is so much better not only quality wise, but I don’t have any lingering kitchen smells that I can’t get rid of anymore! I definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn’t have a grill or is sick of their propane/charcoal!"
"Wow, this grill surprised me in the best way. The unboxing and setup process was easy with straightforward instructions. And I love the modern look and design of it! I wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve never used an electric grill but the heat consistency and temperature control were great. Once it gets up to temp, it stays there, and that makes it nice to feel like you can walk away from it and enjoy time with company. I think anyone would love this grill but especially families, people living in neighborhoods or apartments with gas/charcoal restrictions, or honestly anyone who loves hosting and doesn’t want to worry about a last minute propane run."
"I just started using my G2 model grill and am really impressed. Assembly was straightforward, and I had it set up much faster than expected. One of the biggest selling points for me is that it fits perfectly on my apartment balcony without taking up too much space. It heats up quickly, the dual-zone cooking is incredibly convenient, and I love being able to control and monitor the grill from the app while hanging out with guests instead of standing over the grill the whole time. Overall, it's easy to use, cooks evenly, and has made grilling much more enjoyable."
