"I’ve had the Current G2 for just a couple of weeks so haven’t cooked a lot of meals. The first meal was burgers and buns which turned out great. Cleanup was easy. I had my grandson help assemble the grill and cabinet. It took over an hour and wasn’t difficult, just too heavy for me alone."

It would be nice if the drip pan under the elements was lower to help make clean up easier . I am also still waiting on my warming rack that was missing in the shipment. "We got off to a rough start - but we're pretty happy now. When we first tried a high temp, it took forever to preheat. But just used it to grill some excellent steaks this weekend - it preheated quickly and maintained the temp well. I seared on the grates and finished with garlic butter on a cast iron pan. I still would like to see some improvements in connectivity/controls with the mobile app."
"I received the Current G2 about three weeks ago. Just had to wait a bit to install which took about thirty minutes from start to finish. No issues and all parts installed without any hitches. I have grilled chicken, steak and burgers. All have come off the grill seared and juicy. Nothing over cooked as the constant heat temperature and easy to use meat thermometers made it simple. Also having all details on my phone was great. Not having to baby sit the cooking process was a huge benefit. I must be honest I was skeptical but I had no choice having to give up my $2400 Saber Gas Grill due to rule change in our Townhouse community. I am no longer a skeptic and I love the G2 Grill. My only regret was not having support for a rotisserie attachment. If one becomes available just please support earlier purchased grills. I highly recommend this grill to "anyone" interested in an electric grill. I researched many electric grills and concluded that the Current G2 is the very best on the market today. You will not be disappointed."

"I debated for a long time on which electric grill to get having moved to a new building where electric was my only option. Once I finally found the current backyard G2 grill I felt like it checked all the right boxes…size was similar to my Weber spirit gas grill, ability to heat to 700 degrees, great tech features and support. The challenge was, what is current backyard? Well having used this grill twice so far I am delighted. I also contacted customer support for some help with setup and got them right away in a Sunday evening and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Really happy with purchase so far and company."
