The only choice for electric grill

"I debated for a long time on which electric grill to get having moved to a new building where electric was my only option. Once I finally found the current backyard G2 grill I felt like it checked all the right boxes…size was similar to my Weber spirit gas grill, ability to heat to 700 degrees, great tech features and support. The challenge was, what is current backyard? Well having used this grill twice so far I am delighted. I also contacted customer support for some help with setup and got them right away in a Sunday evening and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Really happy with purchase so far and company."

"This grill is wonderful. Setup was easy. I had problems with firmware update but tech support was quick. It’s easy to use the grill and the app integration is excellent. I’ve cooked steak and a whole chicken and with the probes it was perfect. And, I’ll never fill a propane tank again."

"I was looking for an alternative to a huge propane tank, and found this little guy. I've used it a couple times so far, and the food tastes no different than that of a gas grill. The ONLY thing that kept me from granting a five-star review was the fact that it does take significantly more time to warm up. BUT . . . I'm hoping to remedy that by using one of my 20 amp outlets. Nice job Current!"

"Our new G2 Grill is working out fine & an approved alternative to our condo grilling restrictions. Assembly instructions could benefit from more narrative details yet the "Bilt" app was helpful. - - - Clean up access features are helpful yet still a chore with grease drippings. Dual zones are great along with the ability to sear meat(s) 🍖 The need to preheat grill is similar to an oven yet temperature is consistent once achieved. Ability to smoke & cook indirectly also exits. - - - Overall, I'm still a charcoal guy at heart yet am happy with the G2 for our condo environment & would recommend it for others with similar needs. Game changer!

"Never thought I’d have an electric grill. We have solar panels and with our gas crisis in this country we thought we’d give it a try. Let me tell you it’s so much better than propane. You don’t get the propane residue on your food. You don’t get the flareups from the fat. It cooks clean and the food tastes delicious! you can very easily regulate your temperatures so the food comes out perfectly every time. Ive been watching Alton Brown’s commercials using this grill. Now I feel bad that we didn’t get it sooner!"

I like my Current G2 grill

"I am very pleased with my recently acquired G2. Here are some of the reasons I bought the Current. The Current has a large cooking surface, duel temperature controls, built in timer and temperature probes (up to 4), connects with your phone via Bluetooth and probably most of all, the Current recommends a 15 amp circuit and the Weber requires a 20 amp circuit. Therefore fewer blown fuses. I have been doing a reverse sear procedure and am happy with how quickly the temperature reaches sear level."
