If you missed the product registration during setup, go to ‘Account’ tab at the bottom, then click the ‘Settings’ tab at the top, then click ‘Support’, then click ‘Register Product/Guides’, then click ‘Register Grill Warranty’, and follow the prompts.

Can the Current® Model G2 hit high enough temps to sear a steak on a balcony?

Yes. The G2 climbs to 700°F, which is the range you want for hard sear marks and a real crust on steak, chicken, or smashburgers. The 800-series stainless steel elements hold heat through the sear instead of dropping when the meat hits the grates, so you get steakhouse-quality results without a gas tank or open flame.

Is the Model G2 a good fit for apartments and HOAs that don’t allow gas or charcoal grills?

It’s built for exactly that situation. No open flame, no propane, no charcoal. Just a power cord. That puts it on the right side of most apartment leases and HOA rules, so you can grill on a balcony or patio where a gas grill would be off-limits.

Will the Model G2 hold up outdoors year-round?

Yes. The body is weather-resistant and the 800-series stainless steel elements are designed to live outside on a covered balcony or patio without rusting or losing performance. A cover is still recommended for heavy weather, but the G2 is engineered for outdoor life, not just a fair-weather cookout.

How easy is the Model G2 to clean?

Cleanup is the part most grill owners dread. The G2’s QuickRelease™ heating elements pop out in seconds so you can wipe the cook surface down without scraping or soaking. No stuck-on residue, no charcoal ash, no greasy drip pan to wrestle with. After a steak night, it’s a five-minute job.

Is the Model G2 built for someone who grills multiple times a week?

Yes. The 800-series stainless steel elements, weather-resistant body, and QuickRelease™ cleaning system are designed for the frequent griller, not the once-a-summer cookout.
